WELCOME to 2006!

It's been a while since we have updated here and well here is the first update of the new year.

The Exercises were cut due to lack of participation. It is best if this particular group is simply used as a hub for us to interact and fellowship. So it shall be unless interest is sparked up again.

But we will continue to do the BA Vibes so keep your eyes peeled!

I think interviews and highlights would be a great idea, especially if they focus on the talented and underviewed/underappreciated artists around here.

I think the interviews and highlights is a good idea too. I realize I feel a bit shy just showing up in someone's gallery saying "Hi I'm with BAnet and blah, blah, blah". Something that will get all of us talking to each other maybe a weekly or monthly chat room wil help also.

As for the activities - I thought it was a pretty good idea, I started several for the "name" challenge, too bad that is squashed now. And on that note, it was hard to get to the names. Maybe someone should type them in beside the icons for easy reference. Just a thought.

Anyway I hope the contests/challenges come back with more interesting things to do. For example, we all could have done some kind of montage, illustration or photography (or whatever your preffered medium is) and created something to represent and honor Martin Luther King's bithday, and something similar for Black History Month.

I know the problem. The truth is, it's hard to focus on our own pages, and deal wholeheartedly with clubs, and deal with this wacked out existence we call real life. =P But it's cool we have a place to hange and check each other out without having to resort to that useless search function.
